Adult Day Treatment at Stride House
The Adult Day Treatment (Stride House) at Counseling Clinic, Inc serves adults 18 and older who have been diagnosed with a chronic mental illness. This day program provides recovery-focused services to educate about mental illness and to develop the strengths and skills needed to manage them. The programs provide structured, scheduled activities promoting socialization, recovery, self-advocacy, development of natural supports and maintenance of community living skills.
Each member is supported by a Treatment Team consisting of a Psychiatrist, a Nurse, a Master’s Level Therapist, and an Intervention Specialist. A client’s team assists with everything from shopping, transportation, and advocacy to treatment and managing acute flare-ups of their illness.
Our goal is to help participants improve their quality of life, control symptoms, increase independence and develop or regain skills needed for everyday living.
